Orders are processed and shipped within one business day directly from an Amazon warehouse. For U.S. addresses, standard delivery typically takes 2-3 business days. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its progress. Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location.

Returns

We want you to love your Water.io smart bottle! If you’re not completely satisfied, you can return your purchase within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Returning a product is easy. Simply contact our customer support team to initiate the return. They’ll provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how to send the item back. Make sure the product is securely packaged, and once we receive it, we’ll process your refund.
If you ordered your bottle on Amazon, please follow the instructions outlined under Your Account > Orders.

Once we receive your returned item, we’ll verify and process your refund within 5-7 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued. Please note that it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank.
Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our products. Water.io offers a 1-year warranty on all of our products, covering any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and applies to the original purchaser only. If your product is found to be defective, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost. To initiate a warranty claim, contact our customer support team with your order details and a description of the issue. Our team will guide you through the process, which may include troubleshooting steps or providing a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for the defective product. Once your claim is approved, you’ll receive instructions on how to return the item for repair or replacement.
Water.io smart bottle

It’s best practice to charge your smart bottle every 72 hours. A full charge takes approximately two hours to complete. If you use the bottle daily and have all the alerts activated, it might need to be charged more often. The bottle will alert you when the battery is running low and it’s time to recharge.

If your Water.io bottle isn’t charging, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot:
- Ensure that the charging cable is securely connected to both the bottle and the power source. Sometimes, a loose connection can prevent charging.
- Dust or debris in the charging port can interfere with charging. Gently clean the port with a dry, soft brush or compressed air.
- Try turning off the bottle and then turning it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix charging issues.
- You’ll know your bottle is actively charging when the LED encircling the cap lights up on contact with the magnetic charging cable.
- You can verify proper charging two ways: (1) Within the app, the battery level should be ~70% charged after two hours, (2) The cap’s LED should turn fully green once 100% charged.
- If none of these steps work, please reach out to our customer support team for further assistance. They can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair or replacement if necessary.

Your bottle alerts can be adjusted within the Water.io app, under Settings ( represented by a gear icon) > Bottle Settings > Bottle interaction. You can customize live reminder hours, light colors and patterns, frequency and intensity of the reminders or even shut off alerts completely.

The Water.io smart bottle is designed primarily for water, but it can be used for other non-carbonated, non-pulpy liquids. Here’s what it can handle:
- Water: This is the best and recommended liquid for optimal sensor performance and accurate hydration tracking.
- Non-carbonated beverages: You can safely use liquids like juice or flavored water, as long as they are not carbonated or pulpy.
- Cold liquids: The bottle is built to handle cold beverages without any issues.
It’s best to avoid:
- Hot liquids: The bottle isn’t designed for hot beverages as they may damage the sensors or affect the bottle’s functionality.
- Carbonated beverages: Carbonation can interfere with the sensor’s accuracy and may cause leaks due to the pressure buildup.
- Pulpy or thick liquids: These can coat the sensor and lead to inaccurate readings.

Yes, the smart bottle is dishwasher safe—but the cap is not. To ensure longevity and proper functioning, we recommended hand washing the cap using warm, soapy water, then dry completely with a clean, soft towel.
